AUSTRALIAN WOODS KALEIDOSCOPES

Just posted on my etsy site the first two of a new series of mini kaleidoscopes crafted in woods from Australia. The first one is in a dramatic grain patterned wood called "Drooping Sheoak".

The second mini kaleidoscope is crafted in "Yellowwood", also known as "Thorny Yellowwood" or "Satinwood".

There will be more 'scopes from Australian woods in the days to follow.

New Image Wheel Kaleidoscope in Dymondwood

A new image wheel kaleidoscope in reclaimed pieces of Dymondwood was just posted on the etsy site. First time I have used Dymondwood for the large 'scope bodies. A bit tricky to work with, but I think it came out well.

New Product -- Music Batons

Launched a new product line on my etsy site today -- music/conductor batons. Spurred by the request of a cousin to make one for him, I decided to make several and see how they are received on the etsy site. Feedback more than welcome. https://www.etsy.com/listing/102473808/music-baton-dymondwood
