Stained Glass Kaleidoscopes

One of the most popular mediums for kaleidoscopes is stained glass. Stained glass provides a striking dimension to the colors inherent in a kaleidoscope image, in my opinion.

Janet &  Frank Higgins have a studio in Odiham, Hampshire, in the United Kingdom and are believed to be the only studio in the UK dedicated to kaleidoscopes. With over 20 years of experience with stained glass, their 'scopes are truly "world-class".

In addition to kaleidoscope artistry, Frank is the moderator of Yahoo's "Kaleidoscope Builder's Knowledge Base" (KBKB) which is an excellent online forum for those interested in kaleidoscopes and the making of 'scopes.

You can see their work on several web sites:

A Few of their "Cathedralscopes"
(I have one in my collection and it is a treasure.)

"Chorus Line"

 "Gothic Cathedralscope"

The above are only a tiny portion of their artistry and one needs to go to the above links, especially the You Tube videos, to really appreciate their talent. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do.
