There are 3 different types of tablet stylus available:

The traditional tablet stylus is very similar to a pen, but with a rubber tip on one end for use on an iPad, iPod, smartphone, any tablet surface.

A second type of tablet stylus, not as commonly found, is the double-ended tablet stylus. Again very similar to a pen, but it has rubber tips on either end and is therefore more versatile, no matter how you pick it up.

Finally, there is the unique idea of a "bobble" tablet stylus which is designed to fit into the ear phone jack on the side/top of the tablet, iPad, iPhone, whatever tablet you are using.
